In between either rain showers, and waiting for drywall mud to dry, I made a couple of Silver Sheen obsidian cabs. No sun today, so the sheen is not showing really good. Woody The pendant cab The shield shape cab

Oh, those are sure pretty! You did a great job on them Woody! I have a question, what grit belt do you start obsidian on? I have lots of undercutting the few times I have tried it and I am thinking I start on a grit that is too rough for it. Could just be me too. Fran

Very nice cabs, Woody - I like both of them. You put a really good dome on both of them - I seldom have slabs thick enough to dome. Good job.

I think this is the first time I've seen silver sheen obsidian cabbed. You did a great job on them. I have two chunks I got at an auction and now I am motivated to cut them.
