Opalized Palm Root I found a couple of small pieces of this two years ago and haven't seen even a sliver since. The gray area on the left and top is sandstone matrix. Curt

Looks like your son let you have a little time off of work to play and you chose a great one to do on your break! It is amazing that you were able to capture some of the matrix in with the cab because I know sandstone is so soft! Fran
