I have bought a small wet saw. It was cheap, I'll save for a bigger one. My question is does anyone know where I get any information on creating a guide, or pusher for my small rocks. I have a permanent guide but to push the stone close to the blade I want to save my fingers, I am attached to them I am trying to cut shappire and granite, etc. about an inch or two wide. Thanks for any help

The blades aren't quite as dangerous as you'd think. You can touch the blade while it's spinning, as long as you don't press into it hard. I never use a guide, most of us do all of our cuts by hand. With some practice, you can get really good at it.

Thank You. I have seen some your work and really like it. I hope to make wire jewelry myself.
I am gonna close my eyes and cut ;D

I'm with Randy, just use your hands. When I'm showing someone new to rocks how to cut I purposely tough the blade to show them there is nothing to worry about.
