A while ago I had a 16 inch saw stop working. The blade spun in the flanges for no reason every time I turned it on. Well, I thought there was no reason. Actually, a rock let loose right as I caught it so the blade was OK, or so I thought. A chunck of rock just kissed the blade. The blade looked straight and wasn't warped, but I guess it was. I cleaned the flanges, filed down the shaft adapter ring, added a washer, etc but it still free wheeled. Today I mounted a different blade and it was nice and snug. I don't get it. Well, anyway, now that the saw was up and running, I fed it some rocks! Here's the afternoon's slabs. Steve Maury Mt. Moss agate. More Maury Mt. Moss, this time all green. Carnelian. Lavic jasper:

 Those are some beautiful slabs! I am glad the saw only had a blade problem, but that in itself can be expensive! I love your Christmas moss slabs! Perfect for the season! You are going to get so many beautiful cabs out of that whole batch of slabs! Fran
