Here's a couple more Ocean Jasper cabs. One of the slabs I tried cabbing. This stuff just flaked apart. The green part was the worst.I couldn't get a preform out of it without chipping apart and the lighter part was almost as difficult but I managed to get a small cab from it. The slab. And the cab This was a lot more solid but a little on the soft side too. This one measures 2 1/2 inches Hope you like the pics. Mike

Both cabs look great. Is OJ prone to that problem, or did you just get some finicky slabs?

Nice job on the cabs - I like the shape on both of them.

Maybe you can stabilize it a bit with some opticon and try it out then. It is such a pretty part of the stone. Your cabs really look great! Fran

Mike: OJ can be a bugger, trying sealing with a little superglue or Opticon if you know how to use that! Amber

Those cabs turned out great. Too bad you couldn't get more use out of the slab though. That slab is gorgeous.

Nice colors and I think you really nailed the shapes, especially on the big one. Karock
