Went to the Northern Virginia gem and mineral show on Sunday. Well, I actually had to work the ticket area for part of the day but I had time before I started to just go through and well, spend my money ;D There were very few areas that even had slabs so that was disappointing to me but then again, I should be thankful because I wasn't tempted to spend more than I did! This is the group of what I got there: There was a nice slab of turritella a large aventurine Mexican moss agate Mexican agate Small pieces of OJ A piece of rhodocrosite Small piece of Rainbow pet wood. A chunk of crysophase (I know I spelled that wrong) a thick chunk of West Virginia Coral And a good piece of Agatized coral from GA There is a little end cut on it so you can see And a nice piece of Dino bone Maybe it is a good thing they didn't have more! I did get to meet a few RTH'ers there and that is a special treat! gemhunter, Ed and Robin were there and that was great to meet them! Fran
