Howdy folks, Still chopping up my finds from the gravel pile. Most are sort of so so but I am getting a few good cabbers. Here are a few pics. thanks for looking...Mel My best from yesterday. This was some hard moss and almost stopped my saw that hardly ever gets stopped. I dressed the blade and will turn the piece around later for more slabs but I got these three for starters. Closer shot: Next one was just jasper a lot like some of the Indian fancy jasper you see. Cut several hunks of breccia. This one is a corker and fully agatized with no pits or cracks. Another breccia that is too porous to cab and the only slab I bothered with off that beautifully colored fossil agate that ended up being just brown on the inside. Bummed me out because the outside is a rainbow of colors.

Wow, lots of colors! Cool stuff indeed. Glad you are getting at least a few good cabbers. Look forward to seeing them cabbed - hint, hint, pictures are always good

Nice cuts Mel. That moss is sweet, and the breccia is a corker x3!

How cool to order some rocks, have them dumped in front of your workshop, and pick out prizes like these. You must have a grin on your face that nobody can wipe away! Jo ;D

That breccia is really nice! It is too bad about the last one but that happens. You just never can tell till you get a slice. Fran

That moss looks really neat - sometimes I like stuff with high contrast, other times I like because there is little contrast. Guess I'm easy to please.
