Hello, everyone. When I made the handle of the sword, I used a piece of a Stone canyon rock which we got from Daniel - deb when we met this summer in Cameron. Here it is (encircled with red): When Ina figured out where does this piece come from she said: "WHAT??? you chopped MY stone from Daniel?" "No, darling, I just put it to a good use!" ;D "And, besides, I saved a piece of that rock and made a set for you; here it is!" Because it was a rock and not a slab, I could cut it thicker and make a rather unusual dome, changing its curvature towards the top. This picture reveals better the curvature changing from convex (right) to concave (left): Thank you for looking, Adrian

Thank you, all. LOL, Steve Holmes, the doghouse! We don't have dogs, we have cats and this is even worst, 'cause their "house" is smaller ;D Steve - rocklicker, I wouldn't had taken apart that handle for nothing ;D Amber, we would like so much to take part at that North-East roundup! Too far for us, though. Susan, I have to drag Ina here to read your statement, thank you Adrian

Thank you again.
Christopher, with the first occasion when I'll make such ear-rings I'll take some pics. But I can tell you by now the wrap it's from a single piece of wire.
