I made a plexi sheild that I put on the front of the saw and the spray for the most part hits that and not me. I made it just tall enough to look over and the full width of the front of the saw tray so the only part that get wet now are my arms from the elbows down

Stand behind the saw and pull the rocks towards you rather than push them from the front. Very little water sprays from the back of the saw. It is all directed towards the front.
This takes a little getting use to at first, but once you do, you will never stand in front of a wet tile saw again. You may also live a little longer. That spray isn't all that good for you.

But getting soaked is half the fun! OK, maybe half of half the fun.. and then only in summertime lol. I think Darryl's got the right advice there, stand (or sit) behind it.

I tried standing behind the saw but didn't like it. I like to see the contact point between the rock and blade to keep the cut straight as possible. I just wear a face mask and an apron. In the summer it is nice to get wet so I just go with the face mask.

I have the same as 2badfrog. I clamp on a lexan shield I made for it. If it's cold out I also wear a raincoat to keep m arms dry. If it's really cold out, I have neoprene gloves I wear too.

I stand behind the saw. Problem with standing in front of the saw is that you have to clean your face shield quite frequently. I can cut for hours and stay dry the entire time, and see what I'm cutting the entire time.
