I have been rebuilding a 20" HP saw for Dave (Hulagrub) here on the forum. I finally got it finished tonight, and Dave said I could post some pics here before I package it up to send to him. Here is what I started with a couple months ago. And here is what she looks like tonight. It was fun but frustrating at the same time, and it was definitely a learning experience. I had so much fun I am going to start another one to keep myself busy. Just wanted to show this baby off! Thanks for lookin.................Tony

Man, now that looks more like an H.P. saw. You got rid of that god awful gray paint. Beautiful restoration, and a great saw. They just don't build them like that anymore. Don

I put a couple gallons of oil in it today and fired it up to test for leaks. Cut a piece of obsidian and found 2 small leaks on the back of the hood. Made a gasket for it and now I am waiting for the gasket to dry so I can finish up the cut and make sure it is tracking right. It sure runs quiet!
It's bolted to the pallet and almost ready to go.

Wow, Tony! Nice work!
Let me know when your next one is ready and I'll take it. I'd love to have a bigger saw.

Hey Chuck, too bad I wasn't on here sooner. I sold a 24" Highland Park just over a year ago. I just live over in Aberdeen, S.D., so it would have been a straight shot down the highway to pick it up. Don
