Howdy folks, I multitasked yesterday while I mowed the lawn and weeded ( known affectionately as feeding the chiggers here in Texas*L*) and cut a few more slabs from my Eagle pass gravel. Here are a few pics.....Mel Best cabbing stuff from the bunch, real dense moss agate: More orbicular rhyolite of a different sort More orbicular stuff I guess I'd call poppy jasper because it's more glassy:

Mel: You sure have some nice 'gravel' there in Texas!
I'll pass on the chiggers........I am allegic to grass, so cutting the nasty stuff makes me itch like I have fleas, so chiggers too would keep me right off the grass. Woody

Oh, those are really cool slices Mel! I hope you get a lot more cutting time in between yard work. Once that grass starts growing there, it is hard to keep up with! Fran

Nice stuff there. Hope those chiggers don't put a crimp in your cutting.
