Very nice color in that. I love Larimar too, unfortunately my budget doesn't...lol. Can't wait to see the wrap on this one.

I'm really partial to Larimar. I know it is a soft stone so was it hard to cab? I have a one cab slab of it that I bought a few years back when I was in the Dominican Republic. It was face polished but with several fractures so I probably wont try to cab it.

Thank you everyone ;D
Larimar isn't really that soft at all. Much harder then say rhodochrosite or even Opal. The thing about Larimar though is that you have to be careful on how much pressure you put on it when you are roughing it in. Too much pressure when you are on your 80 grit and it will splinter and flake. Too much pressure on you 220 grit and it may break. So the key is to use medium pressure throughout the cabbing process.
