Never mind that crap, we have a well to plug! I am looking at going out of businesss from it. 20yrs all together, gone in a flash. At least I am looking at doing something, or finding an answer,
That should work. Unless the Greenies think it might damage the environment.

*LOL* Rich, I think we don't whine as much about paying taxes as much as we're pissed off about how the friggin government yahoos waste our tax money and how so few Americans actually pay into the system while so many non payers take out so much in benefits. That's why we're working our way towards the Greek situation where no one puts in but everyone takes out. I think a flat tax would be so much better where everyone would contribute an amount proportionate to how much money they make. Then we would only have to stop the waste *L*. That would be easy right?....Mel

Maybe the politicians should be paid based on their job performance. And let the people who voted them into office decide how well they've performed. We'd have one of two things in Washington. Very poor politicians, or politicians who actually listen to the voters. We need to fire the whole damn bunch and start over with term limits and stiff laws against big business buying our politicians. Say like first offense they get fined 10% of their total corporate worth. Second offense their business license is suspended.

HERES A LITTLE SOMETHING TO LIGHTEN UP THE THREAD..................
Near Frankenmuth, Michigan, where we have a large German-speaking, Lutheran population, A farmer walking down a country road notices a man drinking from his pond with his hand.
The farmer shouted, "Trink das wasser nicht. Die kuhenhaben dahin gesheissen!"
(Which means: Don't drink the water, the cows have pooped in it!)
The man shouted back, "I'm from Washington D.C. and I'm up here campaigning for Obama's health care plan; I can't understand you.
Please speak in English."
The farmer replied, "Use both hands; you'll get more water that way!"

Ah . . . perception vs. reality. Lemme compare [my] 2008 income tax vs. 2009 income tax. Well I’ll be dipped. Effective income tax rate was reduced by 14.97% in 2009. I got more change in my pockets. YMMV ;D Just got an unexpected check from Uncle Sam, so lemme rephrase that . . . I got EVEN more change in my pockets. ;D Effective income tax rate now reduced by 22.26% in 2009.
