Wow this is a big one. I read that they don't bite people, I'm sure glad they are not in North America.
The video-
Enjoy ;D

Yup, in Cambodia tarantulas are fried and sold in the market place like fast food. I just watched a special on the Discovery Channel about spiders. That part of the show made my stomach turn.
I really like spiders.

Really? Funny, we like them too. We don't kill spiders in the house, they eat the other stuff. We don't have too many bugs in the house because the spiders take care of them. I'll even pick up some of them, not many actually bite. The one in the first video did look a bit scary. lol

really. We had a pet tarantula a few years back. When he shed his skin it was in one piece and it looked like there were two in the cage. It kind of freaked me out because until then I didn't know they shed.
Also took in a gorgeous orange and black garden spider for about a week when the town was spraying to kill mosqitoes. We had watched him spin his web in our vegie garden and help keep it bug free and we hated the thought that the spraying would kill him/her also.
Spiders are really interesting little critters.
