Howdy folks, Ran the saw again while I did yard work. Got a few interesting cuts so here are some new pics. Also got very lucky today as I had a piece of puddingstone really blow up in the vice. really made a loud bang but no visible blade damage *whew*. Thanks for looking....Mel Prairie Agate. Some of these came from Roger and some from E-Bay. They look way different on the exteriors and you never know what will be inside. Really hard solid stuff though. Texas lace agate?? from the gravel pile. Black, pink and purple bands but unfortunately there is a void down the middle of the slabs and some fractures. May be OK for some free form cabs though. Closer look: Another odd lacy nodule. This one is my favorite for the day. Dunno what this is, maybe some kind of jasper breccia or maybe rhyolite. And of course I had to sharpen the blade on more Devil's Toenails. This one has a really orange matrix but fewer shells.

Interesting cuts Mel! Glad to hear your blade made it through a close call.
