Been quite busy on vacation this week, but I got some saw time today. Here's a piece of I think dolomite I picked up in Michigan's U.P. I didn't get a really good photo of it, but it's got kinda whitish mossy and the spots showing white are maybe hematite. Blue lace agate bought at Kingsley North's store Rhyolite (or possibly jasper - it's pretty hard) from my auction haul Last I have 2 small slabs/preforms of I think Brazilian agate from the auction haul Thanks for looking, Nate

That is a really nice batch! I love blue lace but it is so hard to get some that is not full of vugs! Those slices are great! Fran

Excellent slabs all! I'd say the banded example is hickoryite type rhyolite ( wonderstone) and I'd agree with Fran, that is great looking blue lace. So many examples show those darn megacrystal veins in them....Mel

Thanks Fran and Mel! I'm glasd I got a good piece of blue lace. It was $25.00/lb, so it should be good IMHO. Thank you too Mel for the I.D. on the wonderstone. I got a whole 5 gal pail of it from an auction. Abby claimed dang near the whole bucket for her fish tank lol. She asked if that was ok and I said sure, if I ever need some, I know where to get it.
