Got the new motor in my tile saw & a new blade in. Spun the blade around by hand just to check it & notice that the gap between the blade & the space it fits in is not even. I never noticed it before when I was using the other blades & was wondering if that is normal? Just wanted to get someone else's feed back before I start cutting rock again! Thanks - Donnie

First, make sure your blade is completely seated on the arbor. Check for any crud that may be between the blade and the wide part of the arbor. If that isn't the problem, check the blade itself. I've seen blades that have a raised center on only one side. If this is your blade type, reverse the blade and it should be centered. Don

First check what Don said, but I'm thinking the table top may just be off a little. Mass manufactured equipment nowadays has pretty poor fitment, as the quality of the motors sent you has proven.

I checked it again, made sure inner & outer flange were good & clean, as well as the shaft. The part where the inner flange fits against has 4 plastic bumps where screws from the other side fit. One of the bumps had a roughened up piece of plastic on it so I cleaned that off, put it all back on & made sure the blade was right direction (it wasn't before, can't seem to match the arrows right ). This time when I checked it, was ok. Maybe just barely a minimum bit of difference (could have been my imagination too). So I think I'm good to go. Thank you very much for your help! Donnie
