Cher was a very special friend to me although we never met in person. i am so deeply saddened to hear of this news. in our last email exchange she had said she was "simply busy with life" and apologised for not being on RTH more often. i wish i'd known she had gotten sick again. i'm assuming that is what happened, anyway. hopefully we will hear more from Gary.
sad news, indeed.

When I joined RTH, Cher was a very active and helpful member, I remember her instructions for tumbling which were written very clear. I am very sad to hear this, words which describe what I feel are hard to find Adrian

I had the pleasure of meeting Cher a couple of times when I attended Agate Days in Moose Lake. She also helped a friend of mine who had a bout of cancer and was a great help to her. I am very sad to hear of her passing and extend my condolenses to her family. She will be greatly missed.

My heart is broken. I don't have the words to express how much. God bless Cher's family, and thank you Dan for letting us all know.

One way or another I have been in contact with her the past 5 years. The past year and half I have been busy with family issues. Cher contacted me out of the blue a couple months ago to see how life was and to talk about life in general. I now realize she was saying good by and thanks for the friendship. I'm very sad with this news and will miss her.

Wow, I'm in shock. It's been a while since I've heard from her, but she was a good friend. She had been fighting cancer for a few years, this is really sad news indeed.

I did not know Cher. She was not posting much by the time I started but when she did, I could see how everyone jumped to see how she was doing. I know she had many good friends here and I could see from her posts that she was a good person. God bless you Cher and your family as well. Fran

I'm sooo sad. Cher was one of those "calm in the storm" kinda gals around here. Although... she was not adverse to lettin someone have it if she thought someone was being a bully or a pain in the arse. A great lady.

Cher was one of the early members here - right from the start she was always involved in everything - I have - and will keep forever some of her LS Agates.
Rest In Peace Cher.

Cher was indeed one of the early members here. I think she came on directly after I did, back when the forum was a single sheet style. Wow! What a shock! She was an icon here. Never a mean word. She will be missed, and I hope her passing was an easy one. People like her, should not suffer. She was a good person.
