There are a lot of people out there trying to make our nation collapse. unfortunately, there are many within this country doing the same thing. I sure hope we can pull out of this tail spin! Fran

I've read some things this guy has said before. He is intelligent and probably right about a lot of things. Two things he doesn't know are the American people and Texans. I had to laugh when I saw his map and it reads Republic of Texas will go to Mexico. We fought to the death for this state once and if need be we will do it again.

What a maroon!
This guy knows nothing about America
We fought before to keep this country together and we would surely do it again.
So Canada will take over the Heartland, eh?
China will take over the west coast (over Arnolds dead body)
The Northeast by Europe...so tax Rates aren't high enough in the USA, we're going to join Europe which cannot keep itself together.
And the South by Mexico , I'm guessing more than Texas would oppose.
Besides the teabaggers, who is advocating secession in this country? I'm guessing there are way too many liberals, conservatives, Republicans and Democrats and Libertarians who love this country with all its shortcomings, to stop any plans for dividing this country.

It's a misspelling and mispronunciation of moron Snuff. I think Bugs Bunny started it if I'm not mistaken.

*L* I'm with Curt. Don't think Texas is gonna be taken over anytime soon and heck, it's practically a separate county here now. And that's the way I like it! *L*...Mel
PS: Charlie, again, as I've said before, you must be from another planet cause yore tea party comment plainly came out of Ur-anus *L*.

Perhaps Rich and I are from another planet , but lets look at the facts of the tea party and secession Who talks proudly about secession, Texans, among others, that's who. Rich and I are proud Americans, fighting to make the country better and stronger. I guess that puts us on another planet and We are proud to be on This one and in this country. One where people are proud to be Americans, but not too proud to admit its shortcomings and fight to make it better. It's hard to say that about those that argue for secession Charlie Who has argued for secession this year Some Tea Party, Some Texans, others - Sarah Palin (Republican candidate for President...seems to be tea party leader or spokeswomen)
- Richard Perry (Texas Governor)
- Zach Wamp (Tennessee Congressman)
- North Carolina Tea Party
- Steve King (Iowa Congressman)
- Ron Paul (Texas Congressman)
- Tom DeLay (Former Majority leader from Texas).
- I'll stop at this point
You notice that none of these people are Liberals or Democrats. The people who want to tear this country apart are Republicans, Texans, Tea Party Activists, etc. It is not good to incite people with populist ideas for anarchy, just not a good idea. There are constructive ways to discuss issues but not by rants and raves that sound good to weak minds. Charlie

I said nothing about secession. If it comes to secession or Obama's idea of what America should be, then yes any and every true American should secede. We will not put up with Liberals destroying America. As far as Liberals fighting to make America stronger.......horse feces! You are trying to turn America into Europe all the while Europe has decided they have been on the wrong track all along and are trying to turn things around.
Tell me Chas, where was it that Greece went wrong? Greece is what Liberals want and the US has had to contribute to keep them from completely disappearing from the scene. France is in trouble, England is broke. So what is it that makes you want to be like them. CA is broke, NY is broke. Every predominately Democratic ruled state is broke. Fighting for America my rusty old caboose!

By the way Sara Palin is not the Republican candidate for President, she is not a Tea Party Leader, a spokesperson......Yes.
It may or may not be true that she and the others you mentioned has said anything about secession. The only one I know of is Rick Perry and you got that one WRONG as well. His comments were that a lot of Texans are thinking secession, but I don't think that is necessary.
If you're going to try to sway people to your insane side, at least have the common courtesy to tell the truth.

Curt You're trying to split hairs here. My statement about Sara was "(Republican candidate for President...seems to be tea party leader or spokeswomen)" She has talked about secession especially when advocating for RicK Perry. Although not an official candidate for the Republican Party she seems to want it very badly- no shame in wanting to be President, is there? And as you have verified, She seems to be a Spokeswomen for the Tea Party.
Rick should not even be talking about secession, it is irresponsible, and definitely not patriotic. it is subversive.
I stand by the truth of everything I say.
In a previous post you went off about Europe and Greece. I have never, nor would I ever advocate for Greece, we don't want to be Europe. For every bad European example like Greece, you will see a country like China doing very well financially. Does that mean you want the USA to go Commie or big brother like China is. Of course you don't. Germany is doing pretty well in Europe, Does that mean you want like to be Germany, no more than I want to be like France or Greece. yet I'm sure both of us would like the US economy to be humming like Germany and China.
I am no more insane than you. You do not like Obama in office, just think what it was like for the other side with 8 years of Bush and republican lunacy driving this country into the ground with insane policies, both economic and military. You may not agree with that but that is how the majority sees it.
We can disagree but let's try to be civil

Chass...
What's up with all the fishermen protesting the Anointed One's" policy concerning the east coast fisheries...? I have heard conflicting opinions...your there...what's the scoop.. I find it interesting that the only people who see Obama as more than a man are those who do not like him. . You call him "the Anointed One". He is a man, a very smart man, but neither Godlike nor mystic. He walks, talks, eats, drinks, and ... He can be right and he can be wrong, just like you and me. Most people would like to see him lose his cool and get all hot and bothered now and then, but that just is not his style, is it? As clint Eastwood once said, "a Mans got to know his limitations" As for "all the fishermen protesting the Anointed One's" policy concerning the east coast fisheries...?" this is a great time for fisherman to get some press. The President is on an island, Martha's Vineyard, off the coast of Cape Cod and with lots of press following him to the Island with nothing to do between Presidential family sightings, what a great opportunity to get some press coverage. I have seen fishermen protesting in every administration including this one, nothing new. It is a battle for sustainable fisheries. One side seeing a need to continue restricting catches to help make fisheries more sustainable. the other seeing that fisheries have made a recovery and restrictions should be lifted. We all know that the New England fishing grounds once teemed with Cod and Striped Bass, and Flounder and Tuna and that they were in steep decline. There has been recovery at some level. therein lies the disagreement : is the recovery great enough to allow higher fish quotas. (and whether higher quotas should go to Commercial or Sport fishermen.) or aren't the Europeans or Japanese or Russians taking too many Tuna and ruining our fisheries. These are the types of rulings that are made about east coast fishing(from a few days ago): Atlantic Highly Migratory Species News The National Marine Fisheries Service maintains the current General category daily Atlantic bluefin tuna (BFT) retention limit of three large medium or giant BFT (measuring 73" or greater) per vessel per day/trip for September through December 31, 2010. The inseason action filed in the Federal Register today, will publish tomorrow (August 19), and will be effective September 1 through December 31, 2010. For more information, please see the attached notice or go to the HMS Division website at: www.nmfs.noaa.gov/sfa/hms/breaking_news.htmwe have rulings like Striped Bass have to be 28 inches or more... seems to be working...I catch a ton of 27 inchers! Only allowed 3 tuna /boat/day... there were some good catches reported this spring so should this restriction continue?
