Thanks. For American material, gem grade, that's probably a fair price. I've paid (and sold) lots higher.

Hi. I've looked thru my whole stash, and this is the closest I can come up with. It's rare vein material from the Easter Blue Mine (which recently has been sold and now renamed). The mine only produced a small amount each year in the past, and is usually hogged by collectors due to it's rarity. at least that's what I was told by the mine owner who sold me the material years ago and which I put back for the future. Just so you know, I usually get between $3 and $5 per carat for finished cabs of this material, depending on the Zat, wow factor, and character of the finished piece. This stone is thick enough to be cut into two slabs, each of which will make a nice sized pendant. It measures 1-5/8 x 1-1/16 x 7/16 thick, and weighs 153.5 carats. I'd need at least $1.50 per carat to sell it. Probably more than you're willing to pay. Anyway, take a look and maybe ask around what Easter Blue is selling for, then if you're interested, let me know. Otherwise, it'll go back into my stash till I get time to cab it and turn it into some nice wire wrapped pendants. I'm thinking gold would really set this stone off nicely... and Enjoy! Phil
