This is a great movie! Especially if you like country music and its a stellar performance by Jeff Bridges. I bring it to the attention of the rock board because of the stone earring that are obviously being showcased. There is some back story on the lapidarist who made these emerald green bluish tint transforming marvels. What my question is if anyone as noticed? And if you see this movie anytime soon I’m sure the credits lists who created these earrings. I’d like to know… Thanks Ed

I wondered that, myself. I looked at those earrings incessantly during the movie, even hitting pause to get a better look.

Huh! Some lapidary *I* am... I didn't even notice the earrings. But I agree, the movie was very good and had excellent music.

I'm not a big fan of country music, and I still loved the movie. Never noticed the earrings though...

It like their prominent, even showcased; yet there really hard to capture a clear view This is the best pic I could find on the net Bad Blake also as some interesting stones going on I know there is a back story on these pieces...

I've got to finish watching that film I guess. I'm a big fan of western music and Jeff Bridges, but got real tired of the same hackneyed singer//loser/boozer storyline in the first hour so I keep turning it off.....Mel

Just looked it up and the jewelry featured in Crazy heart is custom elk tooth jewelry by Sarah Buckles Larner of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. She apparently works in stone sometimes too. Some of the other jewelry and costumes, including JB's stone belt buckle, came from the collection of antiques costumes, jewelry etc owned by Kathren Kinsey of Arkansas...Mel
