Congratulations to your daughter for a job well done, and to her father for taking the time to teach her. Her proud smile says it all. Now get that cab wrapped or mounted, so she can show off her work at school. Don

Alright! Way to go! Nothing better in this entire hobby than to teach the young ones among us about this great art! As a father and grandfather myself, I applaud you and give props to your daughter as her work is quite nice! Love seeing the safety gear being used as well. I only hope more parents post pics like this and let all the youngsters out there see that this is a very cool hobby that comes with rewards that everyone can be proud of! Bring on the new blood! -Chris.

She made a beautiful cab, congratulations to her. I bet both of you had a good time while she was doing this.

Aww she is cute,if she is like our kids they want to try it and then never ask again, it is hard to get them interested long term, but at least girls can wear what they make, so that is good! I bet you had fun!

That is so wonderful Tom. A master stone cutter in the making. She totally looks like a jeweler in the last pic.

Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement. She's already asking to make another cab. Hopefully I still get to use the equipment

Hmmm, maybe a second cab machine might be in the works? That is so cool, and wonderful. She did great on that stone also. Tell her to keep up the great work, she will be a master in no time at all!

Awesome cab! Got to say it still pisses me off that everyone's first cabs look better than those I do after 40 years of cabbing *L*.....Mel

What a cutie! Tell her that is a GREAT cab. Gotta keep these kids interested in something besides TV, games, and cell phones.

Guess this means you'll have to get another cabbing machine so you have something to work on. Love that ear to ear smile and that cool cab. She looks so proud of her cool creation. Glad to see she used all the necessary safety gear too! Looks like you have a future rockhound on your hands. I need to start having kids. ;D STeve
