I find myself in need of a red stone heart shape cab for a commission piece for valentines day. Does anyone have any of those for sale? Not too pricey please. Amy

I've drilled most of mine. Here's a couple of examples of the two shapes I'm working with (disregard the pricing info, for people here a LOT cheaper): I have probably 5 more large pendants like this cut in either heart shape. Then I have probably 10 or so Red River Jasper hearts, standard heart shaped, flat backed, that are 20mm across. If any of that interests you, let me know so I can post photos. The 20mm cabs have not been drilled yet. Tell us the size and type of heart shape, will make it easier to let you know. I must have at least 50 heart shaped cabs, but most of the larger one's are drilled to be hung as pendants. The smaller one's, all 20nm, only a few have been top drilled for post mounting for earrings. If I look through my desk drawers, I probably can come up with three different red variations too, on the 20mm hearts. If it's only a 20mm you want, free to you, just pay shipping. Can't be much, they weigh nothing...well, almost nothing lol!

thanks Robin, 20 mm is kinda small. I would prefer 25 to 35mm. But that red agate is awfully pretty. How much for the ones with holes and what size are they?

Let me give you some better pics... I have probably half dozen more somewhere in my show kit that are mainly reds. A few Chicken bloods, a few Red Rivers... Here's what I had handy, just for comparison sake. Notice the quarter, these average around 30 to 40 mm wide, 40 to 50 mm tall. Some are obviously different. What shade of red? I've put several here to get a feel. Find something close to what you want, I'll PM you the price. 20mm's free... Remember, the color represented is through the lens of my camera. To me the reds on these are more blood red than shown here. As in darker but brighter... the larger cabs, the colors look more precise, the 20's look kind of orangey in these photos for some reason.

Oh, on that Red Stripe Agate above, to give you a size reference, that hand is the size of a dime. The heart is closer to 45mm wide x 50mm tall.

Any color red would be fine. I like that flame jasper a lot. Or the Red river jasper is nice too. I guess I can make a 20mm pendant. My client did not specify size. I would rather have it without holes.

OK, thanks Robin. I will send back a batch of various cabs. I will try to include some local stones. Maybe you don't have them. I can't wait to see what you send.
