got this one from a old timers pile but dont know were its from some were in oregon i suspect opal butte

It appears to have some of the same characteristics of a thunder egg which (west of the Mississippi river) can contain opal.. Might even have a close resemblance to petrified wood.. Yet the colors in the first image, could make it the chalcedony (agate) verity. Just seems to have allot going on within its makeup.
