Howdy folks, Finally got to go outside for some fossil hunting after all this dang freezing weather. Not a lot of finds but it was still fun. Here are a few pics. All this is Lower Cretaceous stuff....Mel Some gastropods ( snails) The most common oyster around here and a weird trigonid clam. It doesn't show very well but is a long ribbed crecent shaped fellow. The light colored example has go to be the strangest clam I've ever found. The others are just the common oyster we have all over the creek bed here on the ranch. And finally, a couple of types of sea urchins. These take awhile before you start spotting them. The tiny ones are about thumbnail sized.

I knew if you kept searching the Glen Rose you would find some echinoids, Mel. Nice batch of fossils!
