No snuffy. Gonna keep my a$$ out of Texas and ya'lls stickers. Picked up a misquite bush under my truck at Stillwell Tue. and it finally pulled a wire loose Fri. 60 miles from Tulsa. All I had was high gear. Going there I was 40 miles from nowhere and passed no one for 40 miles and a bird from nowhere flew into my grill and broke it. I swear it was the only bird in 100 miles.

That area that the Woodward ranch is in is the roughest territory I have ever seen. Other places in Texas such as Tilden or Laredo is not nearly as prickly or rough hilly terrain. I have hiked around some near Morenci, Arizona and Holbrook, Arizona and their desert is not even a desert when compared to Alpine. Alpine has the most and meanest varieties of cactus than any other place I have been to.

Well, with the bird and the mesquite bush, I hope the trip was rewarding in other ways. You do have some awesome rocks. At least that is what you went for.

The agates at WWR are small but very nice. Speaking of "in the middle of nowhere", did you see the Prada Shoe display along the freeway? ?
