Very nice flint. Definitely a nodular form so around here it would be called Edwards Flint or Pedernales Flint for the formations it commonly comes from. Flint is usually named for either the location it comes from ala Flint Ridge Flint, Polish Flint or Alibates Flint, or for the geologic formation it comes from ala Edwards Flint. Sometimes it's merely named for its color ala "root beer flint" which is actually root beer colored flint from the Edwards formation and sometimes it's named for how it looks ala Tortilla flint. Other than all the various common names, it's all just flint.....Mel
