A memorial/celebration of life event for Trey Woodward will be held from noon until 4 p.m. April 30 at the Woodward Ranch's Calamity Creek campground. A potluck lunch will be held, and friends are encouraged to bring a potluck dish, folding chair and best "Trey story" to bid farewell and Godspeed. John Frank "Trey" Woodward III, 54, died of cancer March 5, 2011. For directions or more information about the celebration of life, call 432-364-2271.

Wishing I could be there. Will always remember our trip down there, the drive to Needle Peak (and back), him fixing my bumper (and thankful it wasn't the axle) when we took that wash a bit too quickly...

I was never able to make it out there and I can see, I missed a real treat. Not just the rocks but he seemed to be a real treasure of a person. God bless him and his family! Fran
