Impressive, Ed. Carving and splicing is hard enough, with turquoise I imagine even harder. T

Thanks very much everyone! Turquoise? I’m not even sure what kind of quality I have? I’m sure it stabilized and I only have a vague idea of what that means Anyway it’s the first time I’ve ever worked turquoise and might have had beginners luck. I was thinking that I should have stopped grinding at the 1200 grit. It was shining pretty good and just buff with ZAM at that point. But I went on to 3000 grit and got some noticeable scratches Turq grinds fast and a light hand is all that is needed. Hopefully I’ll continue with luck till my skill are solid cause I really like the way this one turned out and look forward to crafting more/ The other side

Thanks agrin ! Its been a long road crafting rock’n hearts This board as witness my progress as no others. Some rough hearts back there! You could look it up Basically it started with rubbing / grinding 2 rocks together Through much effort, experimentation, encouragement from the board, a vision and heart ; I think, I have arrived I look forward to starting a thread: A Heart 2 Heart Discussion subtitled: The Heart of the Art. Maybe, I got that backwards?? A backwards heart? Now that’s interesting! Your rock’n heart goof edmostly
