Not exactly sure of a trade name on the material. The bottom two appear to be agates of somesort - and the top photo - hard to see, but would guess a bog wood type material.
Have fun playing with em!!

Tough ones Tom. First one I can't tell much about. Can't even make a guess. Second, some for of agate breccia. Could be pastelite. Last one looks to be Polka Dot Agate piece that has no dots but that's only a wild guess......Mel

Thanks, folks - these are from some of Julie(Mynewhobby)'s stash - I think they're pretty nice and will make really nice cabs. They are all pretty solid, and I'm sure they will polish to a great shine.

Hmmm... well the bottom three may have come from me, and could be orthoclase, and I wondered when I first looked at them, but thought the color was a little off to me my stuff. Tom, take them out into the sunlight and look at them from all angles, do they have a schiller? If so, all but the first is orthoclase (moonstone) from PA. Don't recognize the ones in the first pic. Jo, the 2nd and 3rd ones do have schiller - although it's very sparse. The 4th one only has schiller in the vugs - which are alive with glitter. The first one, I think I agree with rockhound97058 that it might be bog wood. The 2nd one is my favorite - it's quite a bit more purpl-ish than the photo shows. Very delicate looking. There's a glittery vug right in the middle of the fracture that goes down the center of the slab.

Those three are probably orthoclase then. Hard to capture how pretty it is in a pic. Good luck with them! Jo
