Here is a couple pics of two pieces i have found on my last trip. The first is a big agate chunk with a nice orange color and crystalline middle. The second is a fairly soft rock with a nice landscape picture in it. I'm not sure if the landscape will polish at all but i sure like the sunset image i see in it. Sampson

Nice finds Sampson. That agate looks really cool, I love the color. The picture stone looks nice too. Is it wet in that photo? How big is it?

Great finds. Will they be tumbled/cabbed?

Now that is cool! I love bright yellow agate. I don't see much of it. Garry

Glad you liked the pieces.
Nate, both pieces are wet in those pics and the picture stone is about 3 inches tall and a little more than two inches wide. I'm not sure what to do with it but may end up cutting a small slice off the bottom so it will sit upright and try to polish it to a shine as a desk ornament/paperweight.
I also liked the orange/yellow color of the agate piece and wish it was more intact so i could cut it but i think it would end up breaking apart if i took it to the saw. I may end up smashing and tumbling it or just tumbling as is...haven't decided yet.....Suggestions?
