Azurite or sodalite? The black reminds me of sodalite. Nice job, you do great work.

I like the contrast colors, yet the same blue tones. Perfect seam, also.

It was a gamble combining those 2 stones together. Ya Get one shot at these things Once your glued up your pretty well committed. Never really know how it will show --till ya polish .
It works --especially for rock folks! But Blue hearts are tough This one is nice --but its still not my ideal
That’s an interesting observation John. It may very well be Sodalite. It as a metallic inclusion either hematite or pyrite.
I got the material from a rockbound, who as a small shop in the Superstition Mountains. I didn’t really ask what it was. Assumed he hounded it in the Globe area.

Nicely done. Did you ever try to split the heart front to back instead of side to side? Then you get two pendants for the price of one.
