*L* Carlos, we hit a least one of the same roads on our hunts. I remember seeing all those boots on the fence. Amazing how much wood is around there. Impossible to actually clean a place out as there's just so much around. Too hot for me right now though. I'm waiting till October or so and of course, rain will make it a whole new ball game. I'm still tumbling a bunch of mine and I really like it. Did you find any nice palm fiber? That's what I want to find more of.....Mel

I didn't find any palm. It looks like a good rain should wash more material into the roads and gullies. It's a lot like some of the wood I've picked up at Wright's gravel pit by the Nueces river at San Patricio.

Very nice petrified wood. Looks like you got a good haul even if it was in the heat. Glad you wore your hat and took water.

You can't beat cold water when it's hot outside. Safety first! I cut some of the woods today and some of them look good. Fractures will be a problem. It may have some problems in the tumbler due all the different boundries between pet wood and agate.

Wow, Carlos, that is really some beautiful Petrified Wood. What a great find and I am just so jealous of you guys where there is really some beautiful agates, jaspers and especially petrified wood. Ohio is a rather bleak for a rockhound.
