I plan to buy diamond belts for expandable drum 6" x 1 1/2". I found at Kingsley north diamond belts for $ 30.50. Is this choice OK? Thank you.

I would also be interested to hear what people say. I have been using the Eastwind belts. I have already worn through two different belts, right at the seam. It was probably is my fault by pushing the stone too hard into the belt.
I saw that Kingsley also had belts from 3M and Raytech. Would be interested on how these wear.

Hey Zotika. I have a 600, 1200, and a 3000 Eastwind belt and as far as wearability goes, they seem okay. My gripe with eastwind belts are that they are difficult to get on and off my expandable drums. They are extremely tight and by trying to push the belt over the drum, I have started to fold the edges over and I get the feeling they are going to rip fairly soon, even though there is a lot of life left to the diamond. I have a Raytech "True Circle" 600 belt that has a thicker backing to it that I've just about worn all the diamond off of and I will probably end up buying another one of those to replace it and not mess with the Eastwind belt anymore. I'm not sure if the belt I have is typical of Eastwind belts, but if it is, then I wouldn't recommend using that brand. But I would recommend the "True Circle" belts. Here's a link to KingsleyNorth's page of diamond belts. www.kingsleynorth.com/skshop/search_results2.php?catID=177
