Hi Everyone ! tornado attempt This rock fascinated me. Perhaps it didn’t shine the way I hoped tho… This is not a local-- but I did find it in Phoenix. Another long story The outside of the rock was hydatated chalcedony. I think that what is called. Anyway I tried to polish that --without polishing it away Thanks for viewing Ed

Nice cabs! I especially like the pentagonal shape of the third one. Could be also in the same category with your tower cabs. Your thread's title reminded me on Disney's "Three cabaleros" Adrian

Nice set Ed! Looks like some neat inclusions in the last one. Don't see many tornadoes in these parts.. that's a doozy! ;D

really appreaciate the comments! the freeform challenge— besides trying to come up with a shapely shape -- grinding out of the scratches in the nooks & crannies . On the heart the surface is all one smooth dome. But these freeforms-- especially in the middle top of the stone--- there is such an abbreviated small area that the scratches/flat spots become a problem. So I’ve been of scratch detail! Trying different methods. Especially using the the edge of the wheel and getting my nose in there trying to see what I’m doing. Nose to grindstone. My nose is very well polished. Perhaps a method is to grind the dome first then try to make the shape ? Not sure I explained this very well but I know what I’m trying to say Thank Agrin! Ed
