HA!!! This bugger started out as 40x30mm. I kept finding big fractures, don't know if they were because of me or if they were just hidden. Anyhoo, ended up with an acceptable one at 30x22mm. First piece I've ever done and only piece I had. Hope you like it! Backlit no flash: Backlit with flash: Thanks for checking it out, this was a fun one!!! ps Times like this I wish more than anything that I had a super macro! The cacoxenite is sooooo pretty in person!!!

Beautiful piece, Krystee. You got the shine so perfect, you can see the compact fluorescent in the reflection! Awesome! Paul

I have sold many pieces of that to people here. Last yr. i have lbs. This yr. all gone. Ralph has made over 20 cabs of it, and yes it can have fractures. It's worth it in the end, but a pain while your cabbing.......... very nice cabochon. mary ann

What a BEAUTIFUL cab! I like the golden needles inside and the shine is liquid, but I won't expect anything less from the Obsidian Fairy Adrian
