Hello All. It's been awhile since I posted here, so I thought I would show a few recent cabs. My grandson (age 13) has taken an interest in cabbing and wire wrapping, so I thought I would post some of his and my work together. WA orb jasper by my Grandson (Michael): OJ that I did: Back-lit: Tahoma Jasper wire wrap by Michael (I did the cab & Michael did the wrap) This is Michael's first real wrap in 14K GF. He did a couple with round copper before this. A little Priday plume that I did: The two Michael did taken outside to show the shine a little better. Another shot of the OJ taken outside to show the shine a little better: I hope you enjoyed looking as much as Michael enjoyed working together on these. Garry

Not sure which one I like best. It's either the priday or the wrap.

Beautiful cabs, and the wire wrapping is great!! Is Micheal a member here? He sure does know how to wrap, I suspect that he's been doing this for a good while. I'd like to see more of his wraps I just re-read, he's 13? Wow. Now his work is even more amazing, not too many young men his age are in to this sorta stuff, and he really is great at this.

Thank you all for your comments. Randy, Michael isn't a member yet, but I would think he will be in the near future. I gave the cab and wire to Michael and this is what he came up with all on his own. He has a younger brother that makes a great cab too, but struggles a bit with wire wrapping. I think he just needs a little more time (Don't we all?) Garry

Your grandson has amazing skills in cabbing, that octogonal shape is so hard to keep symerical but he did it perfectly! But then again, no wander about this, having such a grand-dad.
Your cabs are nearly as beautiful as his ;D
