Tom Joyner - black radio host - said "Let's not even deal with the facts right now. Lets deal with just our blackness and pride - and loyalty. We have the chance to re-elect the first African American president, and that's what we ought to be doing. And I'm not afraid or ashamed to say that as black people, we should do it because he's a black man" Could a white radio host say this and not be called a racist? I think not! Bob

You can only be racist if you're white. Didn't you know that?

Tom Joyner is leaving one important fact out. Barack Obama is not a black man. Barack Obama is a half breed. Half black and half white. A fact that Barack Obama himself has seemed to turn his back on. It just goes to prove the deep seated racism of both.

i don't think anybody wants an illegal, commie, muslim as dictator LOL..... They do! LOL And maybe a note on the side. I have lived in the shadow of Communism (Chinese Style) for quite some time, while its anything but ideal, at least I know what I can or can not do. Anyone (foreigners) who has ever lived in China, will tell you that overall, its actually a saver living environment than in most Western countries.

at this point, kk, you are probably right.
and i agree with Curt, it's not just racist, it's liberal bias. Doesn't the Republicans have a black candidate? Herman Cain?
i am so fed up with politics in this country these days, and we have a whole news media frenzied year to get through before elections where more nothing will get done. sigh.

As for feeling more safe living in the palm of The State, one needs to remember that there is a thumb attached to the palm... "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." - Ben Franklin I'll happily take my chances, my brand of safety is a little tab on my Smith & Wesson. KD, haven't you heard that black conservatives don't count? Bill

Yep, racism pure and simple and stupid too because you elect someone not because of his color but because of his skills, his morals, his stand on the issues etc.
Regarding the half black issue: It's always intrigued me that African Americans today still view themselves with the same mentality as the slave owners of years past. In slavery days, if you had even a touch of black, you were considered black and subject to slavery. Now African Americans that are only part black ( often a very small part) still consider themselves as if they were all black just as the slave culture of old would. Were it me, I'd be proud of my other racial makeup too and not view my blackness as a factor dividing me from other folks. To me, to do so reinforces a negative slavery days self image, and is kind of like walking around with a chip on your shoulder whereas we should all be proud of all our ancestors whatever the color.....Mel

Got to kind of agree with Charlie on that one. The term breed is kind of negative when applied to any human and is an animal husbandry term. Since most humans deny they are animals and we are no longer kept for breeding purposes the term is kind of a nasty one.
On the positive side though Charlie, the races are becoming so mixed that in a relatively short period, the term " mixed race" will be proper nomenclature for pretty much everyone. I've noticed while watching TV lately that a large proportion of the population is now almost unidentifiable as to race. After all, some of the most beautiful folks you see are of mixed heritage and so are biologically more desirable as mates. Don't know if this is bad or good but in the long run it's inescapable.....Mel

Hey, never said I wasn't a mongrel myself. Half Czech, and half heinz 57. Just saying that Obama seems to deny both halves of his ancestry. I wonder if socialist is considered a breed ?

I wonder if socialist is considered a breed ? I think progressive socialism is a recessive genetic disorder...probably caused by entitlementitus and a lack of red meat in the diet. lol Rich, that's funny. (good links too) IMO racism today is more a matter of philosophical differences than of skin color. More of a political tool than anything. Bill

Obama’s also related to James Madison, Harry Truman, Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter, George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. Saddled with the most recent two, ignore_ance is surely bliss.
