tHIS WAS NO TRICK ! I'm over at my Ma's I stopped at a favorite hound area. Actually I've never really found any good rocks there. But I keep looking. I found this sweet yellow agate nodule! I kept looking because as Rodney said If there some--there more. I'll have to go back and do some digging. Its a lousy picture on 3.1 camera and I can't get to my phoBucket account. I'll post a more decent pix later anyone want to take stab at what the yellow mineral is? Thanks Ed

No idea what it is. Once at the hill above the wonderstone claim by Fallon a guy found a beautiful piece of rainbow obsidian. I figure it fell out of a rock hound's truck or pocket as it isn't an obsidian area. It was funny to watch the swarm of hounds trying to find more. Kind of like the gold rush.

There is a freeware program called fastStone image viewer and you can do just about anything to your photo. Resize is very easy.

That's funny about the obsidian find John. My buddy used to take all his scrap Baker Thundereggs and junk cut pieces and throw them around my claim. That way people claim jumping would waste time jus walking around rather than steal our good eggs lol.

Is that quartz? I find quartz here that is pretty intense yellow like that but it gets less intense as it is ground down. Beauty is only skin deep. lol
