Just thought that I would ask here. What are the finest colors to keep?
Would an Orange cab demand a higher price then a light blue or green?
What about an Electric blue, what kind of price would these cabs or wraps command?
How do I tell the differance between the two? I don't want to have them labled incorrectly.
Thanks for any help,
Tammy

this is from Wikipedia
Spectrolite is a rare variety of labradorite feldspar which exhibits intense labradorescence, schiller or iridescence.[1][2] The variety is a trade name for material mined in Finland.[1] Labradorite with the spectrolite play of colors has also reported from Madagascar.[3] It is noted for the play of colors from blue to red. It is often cut as a lapidary cabochon and used as a gemstone.

Thank you Frog and Bear.
Now does anyone know the colors that are higher quality or price?
Thanks,
Tammy

purple, red, orange, gold, blues and greens
in that order
Purple is not very abuntant so I would say its the most sought after
I would like to add that if you have some that exibits the whole spectrum of color then that would also be a rare piece

I find that they are different in similar ways than lets say Pietersite from China and Africa. The color of the Finish (spectrolite) tends to be stronger and the directional color-bands are shorter in Spectrolite. (at least in the ones I worked with) I found it very hard in Spectrolite to get color from every angle. Here are two pieces where I managed to get color from at least 80% from any angle.
