Not too shabby Yuri. The Succor creek is very nice... Must more intense fortification than you typically see. The white fir agate bed is also very nice. This claim used to be owned by Nadine Carey of Bend, however the last rumor I heard was it was being sold to one of the Rock Clubs.
The Killer Green's not bad either. I own that claim and I only collected there for 20 minutes this summer. I was too busy with other eggs lol.
Sorry I can't help with your mystery egg. To me it looks to be out of state, but then again there's a few beds in the SE Oregon area, I'm not too familier with.

I love your eggs I have been collecting them for years mine are mostly uncut though. I have never heard of the Donny Brook and I really like that one along with the Secret ridge. I need to get a saw running you have inspired me lol. Thanks for posting them. George

George - Donnybrook Thundereggs are located very close to the Wasco/Jefferson County Lines between Antelope and Ashwood, Oregon. The bed is nothing special - just a strip of dirt along side a dirt road and confined to a strip about 12 feet wide as it is surrounded by private land which offers a $5000 fine for trespassing. These eggs are in a very tough rhyolite and much of the time they are mud balls, or have a thin, clear agate lens. The specimen Yuri posted is a great example of this location, and actually a bit better than average as it has the blue tinted agate with fortification. Often times as you see with Yuri's stone - these eggs exhibit so called "snowflakes" in the matrix which is another detail to ID these eggs. This location is about a hour and a half from my house and I have spent allot of backbreaking hours at this location and good eggs are rare. I have scored some of the most amazing eggs in my personal collection - but like you said this location is one that is not well known.
If you ever get to Oregon to collect eggs, let me know and I can take you out there.

Thank you for the good words guys. Jason, I think we need to meet some time. Are you planning to open you claim during Prineville pow-wow next year? Yuri

Not sure if I'll open the claim or not. All depends on the condition of the bed and if they ask to do it again. They like to change locations for their field trips to people don't get burned out.
Did you attend the trip to Fallen Tree last summer?
I have the paper work sitting on my best for a plan of operation for Fallen Tree to see if I can open the bed with a small back-hoe. If I can secure the OK from Forest Service, and get my bond - I think we'll be able to dig lots of eggs for the pow-wow if they ask. If not, I do guided trips to the claim on a personal basis as well.

Could very well be. As said I'm pretty confident the last one is not from Oregon. The website link you posted is David Rix's site. He actually joined this group a week or two ago. Great guy! We have dealt Thundereggs back and forth for years. - He has an amazing online gallery.
