This Brazilian daunted me the whole week. Breaking and literally peeling layers. After many changes, I finally managed to finish it today. Only to drop it just as I was setting up for pictures,........ Death on Arrival,....... Attachments:

Could XHtal it, but would have to reshape again as a whole section on the right has peeled off and the fracture could be seen. I think, this is a case of forget it and lets move on to something else! Obsidian carving is nearly ready to wear, and if that works, all is forgotten.

Been there done that. Drives you nuts after all that hard work and then you get butter fingers. Looks fixable. Nice piece, reminds me of fire agate.

No problem, long forgotten and moved on to better things. It was just frustrating as it hat a rather rare plume formation And the misshap waited until it was completely done.
