I love this stuff! Even more.... I love Don (Jakesrocks) for giving me this AWESOME slab! He mapped it out and I just followed his lead. YOU ROCK Don! The slab: ![](http://i671.photobucket.com/albums/vv74/kgniot0709/P1030970.jpg) The Preform: ![](http://i671.photobucket.com/albums/vv74/kgniot0709/P1030972.jpg) A couple tiny fractures decided to be more prominent during polishing... grrrrrr ![](http://i671.photobucket.com/albums/vv74/kgniot0709/P1030975.jpg) Flip side: ![](http://i671.photobucket.com/albums/vv74/kgniot0709/P1030977.jpg) Don't typically show the back but.... look how cool it looked on both sides! Back side was only taken to 600... ![](http://i671.photobucket.com/albums/vv74/kgniot0709/P1030976.jpg) Thanks for checking it out and thanks Don!!!

Great stuff. Super workmanship. How do you keep the druzzy clean? (Still have to figure that one out on my current cab)

Beautiful job on the TeePee Krystee. Sorry about the cracks, but most of this material has some cracks. Just the nature of the TeePee beast I guess.

Beautiful work!!! You did a great job on that one! Fractures are really common in this material and almost expected. That was a really wonderful slab gift! Fran

Thank you! LOL Jim ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Kurt and Clyde, I didn't pack the druzy with anything. I did run extra water in my drip though to keep it super wet and rinsed well after each grit. I was very nervous that some of the crystals would dislodge and scratch the surface of my cab but they stayed intact. I was lucky! Don, I think this is the first TeePee I've ever done. Thank you so much for sending it to me! I think I'm going to buy some wire and wrap this one!!!

You're welcome Krystee. After seeing your obsidian cabs, I knew the TeePee was going to a good home. Now you have your own little piece of South Dakota.
