Here's a few unknown thundereggs that i have accumulated - i have very little info about any of these save that they were bought from US dealers. So here's some jobs for the thunderegg detectives among you! I am fairly sure this one is Californian, an area i could really use learning more about (am in the process!). It was speculated that this was one of the Hauser beds from near Road's End . . . will have to see though. The above was in the same batch. As was this one - can't really say much about it beyond that it came from a US seller! And this beauty has also stumped any attempts to ID it so far. Some have pointed me towards Mexico, others to Oregon's coastal range - but nothing more specific than that. And yes, i know the picture is upside down! I'll get round to rotating it one day!

The reddish matrix in the first does look like Wiley Wells area material.

First one does look like a Hauser bed egg. I have one very similar around somewhere. Think mine even has that red line of agate around the edge. ....Mel
