Wow those are nice Brian! Do you have any origin info on the black and white one? I picked up a big slab at a garage sale but the guy who sold it had no idea where it came from. Never seen another like it till you posted yours....Mel

Dang, I was hoping you had a definite location. I talked to a guy once who said the stuff came from a whole hill of such material just NW of Baker, CA and I have another slab the same color but with different fossils that was marked Baker but am not sure if the two types are from the same site. Nothing at all is mentioned of such material from around Baker in any book I have....Mel

Great stuff. I have a piece of black with shells that I found here and I think the shells are smaller. Hard to tell from your pic. The pic does not show it but the black is blacker. There is a lot of coral up in the Big Horn mountains around 9000 feet but the piece I have came from down here in the Big Horn valley. River wash I presume. Jim
