Cool looking heart how big is it? I would think a nice short chain so its not too long to clonk you in the teeth when you bend down

Hi Ted Someone told me it was schist nice whatever it is Well here’s how it going before I glued it I grooved it for the bail after the final grind the groove was off ! going to have to tap out the hole so I get my dremel chucked up my 1 m.m. twist drill heart in hand I stepped outside a swarm of bees were drinking my soda! How 1 bee I can handle with WD40 But this was going to be WAR! So I grabbed my carburetor cleaner and the battle was on after 10 minutes, and few close stings from some very angry bees I won ! Now where did I put that heart ! Another 20 minutes of aggravating searching O.K. the heart back in hand I secure it in the vice grab the dremel and the 1 m.m. twist drill is missing! it fell out of the chuck that a needle haystack situation! So I drive over to the jewelry supply house busy bees in there Geesh ! 5 minutes later the helpful clerk attends to me I need a 1 m.m. twist drill Sorry were all OUT! You bought the last one a week ago So I pick up few unnecessary items and drive back- I see this silver glint Uh Ha! I found the 1 m.m. twist drill !! miracles happen-- if you wait long enough and go thru enough aggravation I got that heart drilled with out further incident take nothing for granted Ed

;D That is not like any schist here, does it have pits? that is uncommon in schist. the coloring makes me think of dolomite-dolostone. hard for me to say what it is , not familiar with your locals , some are easier , like the granite, that is a nice granite.

don't take my heart for granted would that dullomite ? works for me Ted! ;D
Its plentiful material used in lots of landscaping lots of it is full of pyrite
the granite I got at a marble shop I wanted a piece of classic looking granite pink, white, black, clear spots I did a lot of searching for it even thought of chipping a piece off a skyscraper downtown lots of granted out there

Come on, who would stick their niece on a pendant? I like this heart much better than the others. I think that you have a wiener there. Too bad that you lost the soda. Tragic. Did you recycle the can anyway? I hope that you did not breathe any of that carb cleaner. I think it will make you pee funny or not at all. Happy that all turned out well. Jim

Hi Don!!
Well the thread & the heart was meant as a play on words.
The heart came out pretty good they certainly could be a perfected art plus, having pre-drilled hole is even simpler on this style
what good is a heart if it can't hang tough like granite? yet be minerally soft & nice like gniess?
O and that is my niece Ashley! on her Wedding Day March of this year Ed
