hi guys and gals, just bought a used gem lab cabber gl-ii, it has 2 diamond 6'' wheels one is 600 grit the other not marked but seems courser wheel no is 100224923848 the wheels are 1 and a half inches wide. would it be a good investment to buy an expando wheel so i can use many diff grits. if the answer is yes is there anyone that has one for sale. thank you so much

shaft diamater is 5/8'' looks like wheel was 1'' and bushings to 5/8 thank you

Yes, they're a good idea. You can usually find them on ebay, Kingsley North, MLS, or other shops.

Don't buy used expandos off of ebay. You may be buying someones junk. Best to buy new wheels, or from a place where you can hold them and inspect them before putting your money down. Check used wheels for signs of rot or separation of the rubber from the metal hub.
