Great variety of stones Ed. Tough to choose a fave. That charoite is very different with those white dots.

What a beautiful group! That is chariot first right? How do you get your labradorite to look so shiny and smooth? do you use a stabilizer on it? I just never have mine turn out so well! I keep going through these and I keep seeing faces in the stones at different locations. That malachite with chrysocola is wild! great start to the new year! Fran

Thanks everyone. Frane, that cab is Spectrolite from Finland, basically the same as Labradorite, but more intense colors. I usually don't have a problem with Labradorite. Here's one I did recently.

Stoner, hello. Those, and all that I've seen of your work is mighty fine! You've probably been asked before, but do you dop your stones? Thanks in advance, - Chris.

I only dop my stones when my fingers are cracked and bleeding! I've been lucky so far this year, we'll see how the rest of the winter goes. The Bishop Ranch plume is only 16x8mm, and I've done smaller stones without dopping, and I've got the finger nails to prove it!!!!!!
