Has anyone heard of this stuff? A friend bought a collection from a closed rock shop and I took all the grits and polishes. There's a bunch of pill bottles labelled as "Geisler's polishing compound". Figure it's a homebrew but thought I'd ask in case it's an older commercial polish I hadn't heard of. It's a fine white clumpy powder. Attachments:

Back in the 50's and 60's, a lot of rock shops bought polish and grits in bulk and sold it under their own names.

*L* I'm getting old. At first I thought I knew what you have but the store I was thinking about was Greigers. They were a monster LA rock store that I loved to visit way back when and they had their own polish that was a half micron tabular aluminum. Wrong name though *L*.....Mel
