Hope you enjoying your weekend. I certainly did. LOL Did this cab today, but have no idea as to it's ID. So if you have any suggestions, please do let me know. Here is the rough and preform And here would be the finished cab with different backgrounds. Thanks in advance for any suggestions, Kurt

I'm sure one of the experts will chime in and ID this eventually. I just wanna comment how fantastic it looks!

Sweet plumes....sweet cabs. I would guess Robinson Ranch Plume myself. Steve

Thanks for the input. It does not have a metallic look to it, so Nippomo is unlikely. As for Robinson Ranch Plume; will have to google that tonight and see.
In any case, the plumes have a distinctive dark greyish green to it. In direct sunlight, that turns into solid green, but I could not capture that in any of the pictures. LOL

Looks very similar to material from Woodward Ranch near Alpine, Texas.

I'd guess West Texas all right, probably Marfa area but similar does occur at Woodward too.....Mel

Mel, I think you are right. Have been looking at available pictures for some time and it seems Marfa comes closest to what I'm seeing in my stone.
The pictures I found of Robinson Ranch Plume look very close too, but I can't find any material that is that tightly packed with plumes, and the plumes look rather thin, not 360 degree growth.
